A decaying building on Broadway will be destroyed on Thursday after portions of the roof caved Thursday morning.
Sinking for nearly a year now, portions of 6 E-Comm Square facing SUNY Plaza fell through at some point earlier in the day, leading the city to declare the property unsafe. Albany Police haven’t pinned down specifically when the collapse occurred.
Albany Police Spokesperson Steve Smith said no one was harmed by the collapse.
